Good News for Peace and Development \u2013 Rwanda (GNPDR) is committed to protecting the dignity, safety, and wellbeing of all individuals who participate in our programs, particularly children, survivors of trauma, incarcerated individuals, and other vulnerable populations.<\/p>

Commitment to Protection<\/h3>

GNPDR recognizes that many of the individuals we serve have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or social exclusion. For this reason, safeguarding and protection are central to our organizational values and program design.<\/p>

Safe Program Environments<\/h3>

We strive to create safe and respectful environments in all program activities. Staff members, volunteers, and partners are expected to treat beneficiaries with dignity and respect while ensuring that no individual is exposed to harm, exploitation, or discrimination.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Safeguarding Policies and Procedures<\/h3>

GNPDR is committed to developing and implementing safeguarding policies that include:<\/p>

\u2714 Clear standards of conduct for staff and volunteers
\u2714 Procedures for reporting and responding to safeguarding concerns
\u2714 Measures to prevent abuse, exploitation, and harassment
\u2714 Protection mechanisms for children and vulnerable adults<\/p>

Awareness and Capacity Building<\/h3>

Staff members and volunteers are encouraged to maintain awareness of safeguarding principles and to ensure that program activities prioritize the safety and wellbeing of all participants.<\/p>

Accountability to Beneficiaries<\/h3>

GNPDR believes that safeguarding is a shared responsibility.
